We have three rooms and all of them have projectors and whiteboards (or flip-charts). Look for an open network NPNet for wi-fi access. You will get 25 minutes for your presentation/discussion.
What is an EduCamp?
EduCamps are un-conferences where educators come and share their projects, ideas and findings. In a typical educamp, each presenter or discussion leader gets 30 minutes for their sessions. We usually have 2 or 3 sessions running concurrently so that the participants can choose the topics they like to see.
The sessions could be in the form of a presentation or a discussion.
Un-conference usually have a gadget corner where participants can try out new technologies.
Previous EduCamps were held in Colombia, China, Germany, Ireland and Austria.

I wish to present the Story Telling Tool Kit that was developed for the customers of the Encyclopedia Britannica. The purpose is to enable students to create interactive presentation using the most templates (map, timeline, charts, picture gallery and picture annotation). The system is designed to interlink stories in such a way that a story on Picasso’s Guernica can lead to an other story timeline on the spanish civil war which could in turn lead to a timeline of europe’s conflicts in the 20th century or a geographical map of spain. No cut and paste is allowed to encourage students to rewrite what they learned from their encyclopedic research in their own words. |
